The founder-creator photo play
Founder-led content has become one of the strongest ways to promote a company. But there is a simple creator marketing format that can make it perform even better.
Invite a relevant creator to your office and capture a natural photo or short clip with the founder.
The creator can then share it on LinkedIn or X with a genuine observation about the conversation, the company or what they learned during the visit. This usually feels far more organic than asking the creator to publish a direct promotional post.
There are two reasons this format works.
First, a founder-creator interaction naturally creates curiosity. Audiences want to know why they met, what they discussed and whether something new is being built. The post has a story built into it before anyone writes the caption.
Second, posts featuring both a founder and a recognisable creator often receive higher engagement than a standard brand mention. In our experiments, this format has repeatedly delivered roughly two to three times the impressions of a regular creator post about the same company.
The key is to avoid making it look staged. The creator should have a real reason to visit the office: a podcast, product preview, industry discussion, event or informal conversation. The caption should focus on one interesting takeaway rather than turning into a company brochure.
This should not replace traditional creator campaigns. It should be one part of the mix.
When executed well, a single founder-creator meeting can generate content for the creator, the founder and the brand—while making the company's personal branding feel more credible and human.
